About us

Tracy King has shared her love of music with students and colleagues for more than twenty years.  In her career she has experienced teaching all grade levels, band and choir.  In addition to the work in her district, Tracy has presented workshops on incorporating music into regular classrooms using children’s literature at the Missouri State Teachers Association state convention and to future teachers at College of the Ozarks.  She has also presented workshops on using visual aids/props to teach music, incorporating writing in music classrooms and creating workstations that teach music.  Tracy inspires other teachers to create joy in their workplaces by presenting a make and take workshop at the Missouri State Teacher's Association Leadership Symposium in the summer.

She served on the committee that created the Missouri Music Grade Level Expectations and her music program was featured in an upcoming issue of MSTA’s School and Community Magazine.  Her professional affiliations include MMEA, NAfME, AOSA and she has served as a regional board member for Missouri State Teacher's Association.
