Punch cards are a great way to assess student knowledge and are a fun addition to the music classroom. These Note Value Punch Cards ask students to punch out the named note on each card. Any standard, hand-held hole puncher will work.

There are eight different cards included:
Quarter note
Quarter rest
Barred eighth notes
Half note
Half rest
Whole note
Whole rest
Sixteenth notes

Also included in this product is an answer key and signs/task cards (if you choose to use the punch cards as a workstation).

Copy each family on a different color of card stock and use in a workstation. I use these cards in workstations, as exit tickets (quick formative assessments) and with students taking private lessons.
